Meeting #4 - 09.11

On the fourth meeting, we discussed our ideas for prototypes and the final piece. 
We also split the work somehow equally. 

Our plan is to show how devices/media is going to take over and ruin our lives using time-line from 1900 to 2050.
We all decided to take 50 years and research everything that was happening in that time - events, technology/communication, fashion, architecture and so on.

1900 - 1950 - Andrej
1950 - 2000 - Adriana (+ wireframe for the website)
2000 - Now - David
Future - Eoin.

Communication: 1950: No internet with online shopping and knowledge, no text messaging, no skype, how did they manage to talk to friends and family in the 1950's? Letters.  Telephone - Was available, but very few people had it in 1950. To make any call you had to go through the Operator at the local Exchange. Most phone numbers were just 3 digits, so you'd pick up the phone, wait for the Operator to say "Good morning, number please" and reply with whatever, such as Tonbridge 387. At first the phones were of Bakelite, very heavy but thankfully very loud, you'd not miss a call unless you lived in an enormous house. Connected but disconnected generation script draft

Camera pans across a vr headset, Cut to the main characters eyes waking from his sleep, John gets up from his bed brushes the sleep from his eyes and slowly walks throughout his house, John gathers himself and makes his way downstairs he is dressed in a shirt a tie and black pants, Camera pans as he walks into his kitchen he proceeds to make coffee and breakfast, the whole time he is glued to his phone screen. John begins to pour his coffee completely missing the cup he burns his own hand, Camera cuts to John leaving his home, filler shots of John walking throughout his neighborhood the whole time glued to his phone, John Enters his local pub and is met with two options, Camera switches to his perspective, A group of lads sitting at a table wave him over,  John being antisocial feels awkward and decides to sit alone at a booth, He proceeds to sit on his phone, The bar for socializing decreases and johns phone instantly runs out of battery, John looks arou...
