Connected but disconnected generation script draft

Camera pans across a vr headset,
Cut to the main characters eyes waking from his sleep,
John gets up from his bed brushes the sleep from his eyes and slowly walks throughout his house,
John gathers himself and makes his way downstairs he is dressed in a shirt a tie and black pants,
Camera pans as he walks into his kitchen he proceeds to make coffee and breakfast, the whole time he is glued to his phone screen.
John begins to pour his coffee completely missing the cup he burns his own hand,
Camera cuts to John leaving his home, filler shots of John walking throughout his neighborhood the whole time glued to his phone,
John Enters his local pub and is met with two options,
Camera switches to his perspective,
A group of lads sitting at a table wave him over,
John being antisocial feels awkward and decides to sit alone at a booth,
He proceeds to sit on his phone,
The bar for socializing decreases and johns phone instantly runs out of battery,
John looks around nervously and decides to join the group of people who asked him over
“Ugh hey guys” John says
“Pull up a seat sit down don’t be shy we don’t bite” one of the group says to John”
One of the people sitting at the table is speaking about Glendalough.
John asks him how he could get there and the group laugh him off, they describe to him the directions to get to glendalough and a bus route which will get him there,
The vocals of the man explaining how to get there are heard as background noise as the film progresses to show John making the journey based on the narrative he was told by the people in the pub, as this progresses we see John starting to understand the directions he was told and we see his communication bar begins to increase,

Bus pulls off and John is stood at a peak in glendalough the camera is placed at a high angle behind him,
Possible hyper lapse or time ramp, the camera approaches John and pans around to show his face, he inhales and the camera slows down
A shot of smoke coming from a small machine is shown and a match cut is used to switch from the smoke machine to John exhaling cold air, John in awe gazed at the sight of the glendalough lake
He kneels down and grasps the snow in his hands (if no snow grass)
And although it is cold he doesn’t feel anything in his hands,
Cuts back to the room which John is sitting,
Sliding from right to left across the table we are shown old photos of John taken when he was younger, the pictures are placed in old but unique picture frames,
Cut back to John walking throughout the hills taking in the air looking around and touching things around him
The bar is shown on the screen, (sensation) (senses) increasing.
John finds a small pub in glendalough and approaches he orders food and sits down,
He glances around the room and catches eyes with a clock on the wall it looks and sounds familiar (the ticking from the clock heard over the noisy bar, John stairs confused st the clock for a moment but shrugs it off as his food arrives,
“Thanks”
John picks up both knife and fork and begins to cut into the food, he inserts it into his mouth (camera angle of just johns nose chin and neck,)
Camera cuts to the room johns sitting, using the same camera angle we are shown John with a tube inserted to his mouth pumping a brown paste into his mouth.
The camera zooms back and we are shown a food meter increasing in the bottom, as johns room is finally shown to us,
He sits alone in a white room with flickering lights wires and tubes inserted to him and scattering around the room, while the camera zooms out we see the clock on the wall the pictures of John, as the camera slowly moves back the lights begin to flicker, and all of sudden cut fade to black
